Love FOR the LAND of HAWAIʻI
is the English translation for Aloha ʻĀina O Hawaiʻi. Aloha ʻĀina o Hawaiʻi, Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to perpetuating Hawaiian Culture, Values, Arts, Crafts and Language through educating people of all ages.
With many indigenous cultures, there are various misconceptions brought about by the tourist industry in its efforts to promote its own ends. Thus, another important goal of this non-profit entity is to present an accurate view of the traditional culture of Hawaiʻi, as well as other Polynesian Nations. Despite the expectable differences of these native cultures, there are great similarities among them. We reveal ethnic bonds and links through similarities to Hawaiian culture.

of note
As practitioners of Hawaiian Culture, it is uncomfortable to declare our lifelong accomplishments on these pages. For many years we have been taught to be “haʻa” (humble) and to avoid bragging about what has been achieved in our own lifetimes. However, in this modern Western world, we realize that for us to establish credibility in this area of expertise, we must enable the reader to understand that our experience and education in the Hawaiian Culture has been extensive, and that we know much about that of which we speak.
